Yedinci ve sekizinci beş yıllık kalkınma planlarının yabancı turist talebi ve elde edilen gelirler yönünden değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Yedinci ve Sekizinci Kalkınma Planları gelen yabancı turistler ve bunlardan elde edilen gelirler yönünden değerlendirilmiş, böylece kalkınma planlarının turizme bakışı ortaya konulmuştur. Yedinci Beş Yıllık Kalkınma Planı'nda gelen yabancı turistler yönünden plan hedeflerinin gerisinde kalınmış, gelirler yönünden ise plan hedefleri yakalanmıştır. Ancak bundan 1999 yılını istisna tutmak gerekir. Sekizinci Beş Yıllık Kalkınma Planı'nda da gelen yabancı turist ve elde edilen gelirler bakımından hedefin küçük tutulduğu görülmektedir. Türkiye yabancı turist sayısı ve gelirleri yönünden dünyanın ilk on beş ülkesi arasına girememektedir. Yabancı turist yönünden krizi aşmanın yolu turizmi çeşitlendirerek turistik talebe uygun yapısal değişikliğe gitmektir
