dc.description.abstract | In this study, polyester resin and quartz are used as binding and filling materials. In accordance with different aggregate diagrams and binding rates designed on standard cement concrete grain-size curves, polymer concrete composite samples were prepared. Such samples were initially solidified at room temperature and then placed in an oven at 50 degrees C, 75 degrees C and 100 degrees C. The samples were then compression tested. As a result of the compression strength determination and analysis, it is observed that the elevated temperature treatments increased the compression strength. The highest compression strength is obtained in a temperature of 75 degrees C. | en_US |
