Investigation of semi-rigid bolted beam connections on prefabricated frame joints
Özet
Elastic rotation stiffness of bolted column-beam connections applied recently in industrial precast structures, were calculated by finite element methods. Obtained results, were compared with an experimental study carried out for the same connection. Furthermore, stress distributions of connection zone have been determined. Thus, a more appropriate reinforcement arrangement for the connection zone has been enabled. Connection joint of system is described as rigid, hinged, elastic and the analysis of the system was performed by using SAP90 software. Obtained values of bending moments and displacements from the three solution were compared with each other and the effects of elastic connection were discussed.
