Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the effect of balance disc training on
agility performance of young futsal players. The mean age of the Bergamalı Kadri Anadolu
İmam Hatip High School was 12,93 ± 0,80 years, average height was 154,93 ± 4,57 (cm) and
body weight was 58,60 ± 3,85 (kg). 15 male futsal players are included. Before and after the
balance disc exercises applied to the players for 8 weeks; 1) Height and weight were measured.
2) Warm-up run for 5 minutes. 3) Illinois agility test measurements (ICT) was done and the
study was terminated. This research was conducted in Bergamalı Kadri Anadolu İmam Hatip
High School. The results obtained from the pre-test and post-test were statistically compared
with the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test. It was found that the
effect of balance disc training applied to futsal players on Agility Test (TT) was statistically
significant (p <0.05), but it was not statistically significant (ICT) (p> 0.05). As a result; It can
be said that balance disc training applied to young futsal players partially increases agility
performance.
