Termal turizm amaçlı seyahat eden turistlerde destinasyon imajı: Gönen örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, termal turizm amaçlı seyahat eden turistlerin Gönen yöresinde algıladıkları destinasyon imajı olarak hangi faktörleri ön plana çıkarttıklarının belirlenmesidir. Anket çalışması ile elde edilen araştırma bulgularına göre termal amaçlı Gönen’e gelen turistlerin öncelikli faktör olarak sosyal çevre, bölgenin atmosferi, taşımacılık ve fiyat konularını algıladıkları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca yöreye yapılan ziyaret sıklıkları ile algılanan destinasyon imajı arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.

The aim of this study is to determine which factors the tourists travelling fort he purpose of thermal tourism at Gönen region consider important as a destination image. According to the research findings derived from the survey study, it was determined that the tourists coming to Gönen for the purpose of thermal tourism perceive as a preferential factor the social environment, the atmosphere of the region, transportation and price. Morever it was found out that there are meaningful differences between the frequency of visits to the region and the perceived destination image.
